Hyderabad - Projects worth Rs. 826 cr sanctioned to ease traffic around KBR Park
At six significant intersections surrounding Kasu Brahmananda reddy (KBR) Park, the State government approved projects totaling Rs 826 crore on saturday in order to build grade separators. Eventually, this would guarantee that traffic at these lights flows continuously.
The ghmc has chosen six significant intersections around KBR Park, which it has dubbed the HCITI Junction Improvement program. At these intersections, there is a lot of work, business, and commuter traffic due to the roadways that connect Madhapur, Hitech City, Gachibowli, and Kondapur to software businesses. According to ghmc authorities, U-turns and traffic lights are now used to manage these intersections.
The ghmc has chosen six significant intersections around KBR Park, which it has dubbed the HCITI Junction Improvement program. Given the significance of these intersections, grade separators at six intersections surrounding KBR Park have been suggested in two packages, with a combined cost of Rs 826 crore, according to GHMC.
The intersections have been planned such that there will be no conflicts across the whole region, so that traffic may go freely throughout KBR Park without interruption. Traveling counterclockwise will pass via a sequence of flyovers, while traffic moving clockwise will pass through a succession of underpasses. In order to prevent congestion during the monsoon, the ghmc has also included plans for rainwater retention structures beneath the underpasses, according to a press statement.
