'Sanatana Dharma' Eradicator Udhayanidhi Stalin Granted Deputy CM Post - Another 'Son Rise' in TN

As the next deputy chief minister of tamil Nadu, State sports minister Udhayanidhi stalin, the son of chief minister MK stalin and Secretary of the DMK youth Wing, is expected to be another'son rise' in tamil Nadu.

Since January, there have been rumors about Udhayanidhi's ascension; nevertheless, there have been several setbacks, including the BJP's attack on him following his comments about "Sanathana Dharma," which prompted even leaders of the india bloc to distance themselves from him. The parliament elections caused a delay in his promotion once more, and the 66-person Kallakurichi hooch catastrophe ensued. Top party insiders, however, said that even though Udhayanidhi was scheduled to be elevated in August, it was decided to hold off until Senthil Balaji—who had been detained by the Enforcement Directorate—was freed on bond.

Following the confirmation of Senthil Balaji's release, chief minister MK stalin, who had previously attempted to sidestep inquiries regarding Udhayanidhi's promotion by claiming that the moment was not appropriate, modified his position. He stated, "There will be changes in the Cabinet, but there will be no disappointment" .

Udhayanidhi has always declared that the chief minister makes the final choice and that he would follow it. But inside the governing DMK, his rise was highly expected, with senior figures hoping for a new 'Thalapathy' to propel the party and government forward.

According to DMK spokesperson salem Dharanidharan, Udhayanidhi is deserving of the honor. "I'm happy about Udhayanidhi's promotion. Whether it is through the Chess Olympiad or other efforts, he has brought tamil Nadu to the attention of the world and merits this position as sports Minister. There has never been a sports minister in tamil Nadu history who has been this proactive. Since he stands for optimism and the future, everyone in the party wanted him to be the deputy chief minister, according to salem Dharanidharan.
