Just 3.8% Polavaram Project Works Done in Jagan's Five Years

The polavaram project was allegedly ruined by former chief minister jagan Mohan Reddy, according to andhra pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. According to him, jagan has caused the state more harm than the split. Earlier today, he published a white paper about the polavaram Project. He declared that seeing Polavaram's current predicament had crushed him. He asserted that jagan was a hindrance to this esteemed endeavor, which had the potential to save everyone.
 

According to chandrababu naidu, while tdp leadership, 72% of the polavaram project was finished, whereas under Jagan's control, just 3.84% of the construction was completed. He charged jagan with squandering the Rs. 3,385 crore project funding. During the TDP's tenure, the polavaram project won several awards. IIT and PPA experts have criticised YCP's rule, according to Naidu.

According to Naidu, jagan only invested Rs. 4,167 crores on this project from 2019 to 2024, whereas the tdp administration spent Rs. 11,762 crores between 2014 and 2019. He underlined that the state's agriculture will be saved by the polavaram Project. He mentioned that the project's delay cost farmers almost Rs. 45,000 crores. Naidu stated that Polavaram's current depressing situation resulted from switching contractors and moving capable personnel.
 
He claimed that the diaphragm wall damage in the project was caused by Jagan's poor management. He drew attention to the fact that the diaphragm wall was constructed by the tdp administration in 2018 for a cost of Rs. 436 crores, while repairs are currently estimated to be about Rs. 447 crores. He stated that the estimated cost of building the new wall is Rs. 990 crores. chandrababu naidu said that his administration will soothe Polavaram's works with the assistance of both domestic and foreign specialists as well as the backing of the central government.
