NJ Teacher charged with s*xually assaulting student

Authorities said that a 43-year-old special education teacher at Freehold Intermediate school in New jersey was taken into custody due to a suspected sexual contact with a younger pupil. Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said that Allison Havemann-Niedrach was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
 
The investigation claims that early this year, Allison started harassing a student sexually; however, the authorities have not disclosed how or how many times Allison allegedly attacked the student, according to the New York Post. students in grades 6 through 8 attend the school; the student's age has not been made public.
 

A detention hearing is now scheduled, and she is being detained at the Monmouth County jail. To find out if she will remain under custody pending trial, a hearing will be convened. Anyone with knowledge regarding her activities is being urged to come forward by the prosecutor's office. "Anyone with information about Havemann-Niedrach's activities is being urged to contact MCPO Detective Dawn Correia at 800-533-7443," the press statement stated.

Havemann-Niedrach has been teaching special education at Freehold Intermediate school since march 2022, and according to her LinkedIn page, she has previously taught and substitute taught at a number of schools since 2008.
