NJ Teacher charged with s*xually assaulting student
Authorities said that a 43-year-old special education teacher at Freehold Intermediate school in New jersey was taken into custody due to a suspected sexual contact with a younger pupil. Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said that Allison Havemann-Niedrach was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

A detention hearing is now scheduled, and she is being detained at the Monmouth County jail. To find out if she will remain under custody pending trial, a hearing will be convened. Anyone with knowledge regarding her activities is being urged to come forward by the prosecutor's office. Havemann-Niedrach has been teaching special education at Freehold Intermediate school since march 2022, and according to her LinkedIn page, she has previously taught and substitute taught at a number of schools since 2008.
