Janhvi Kapoor became vegetarian to work with Pankaj Tripathi
Pankaj Tripathi has numerous followers, including Janhvi Kapoor. She also revealed how, like a crazed fan, she asked for Tripathi to play her father in the 2020 Netflix drama 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl'. Janhvi temporarily avoided eating non-vegetarian foods to guarantee that her desire was granted.
She admits that she doesn't usually idolise anybody, but she has always wanted to collaborate with Tripathi. "I wanted to work with pankaj tripathi, Sir. "I took a mannat to get him to agree to the film. Janhvi chuckled. "I think I became a vegetarian for 10, 12, or 15 days so that he says yes."
During the film's release, pankaj tripathi also discussed his experience working with Janhvi. He stated in an interview, "She is a fantastic performer. I learn a lot from her since she is really dedicated and passionate about her profession. In reality, she has no spectacular tantrums, and I must say that we have a wonderful relationship. She gets local specialties like lassi and biryani and demands that I eat."
