Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh's Chief Electoral Officer, mukesh Kumar Meena, has suspended the Polling Officer (PO) and Assistant Presiding Officer (APO) for failing to provide accurate information on Pinnelli damaging the EVM and VVPAT devices at Palvaigate polling station.
 
Mukesh Kumar meena reported that eight police teams, including the SP and DSP, are currently hunting for Pinnelli. He expressed confidence in apprehending Pinnelli shortly. Following the Macharla incident, the election commission decided to ensure strong security for the vote counting on june 4. At the counting centres, three levels of security have been deployed.
 
Mukesh Kumar meena directed that media points be put up at counting centres. He requested that officials tell contestants and agents with the counting information in advance. He also directed security officers to erect barriers at counting centres. The EVM counting will begin only after the postal ballots have been counted. The ec further requested that information of the outcomes be uploaded to the Encore online application as soon as feasible. Unauthorised individuals and those without an identification card will not be permitted near counting centres.
