AP Elections - Vizag Salon offers free haircuts if you vote!

SIBY JEYYA
By providing free haircuts, a salon in vizag has devised a novel strategy to encourage people to cast ballots. The initiative to educate voters about their rights was started by Malluvalasa radhakrishna, the owner of rk Smart Salon, which is situated in front of kancharapalem Mettu and Mutyalamma temple in Visakhapatnam.

With just a few days till the May 13 election, radhakrishna appears to be making an effort to encourage more people to cast ballots in the forthcoming lok sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh. In the unlikely event that his salon is inundated with customers demanding free haircuts, one can only hope that the barber will be able to fulfill his pledge and not become weary.

The free haircut offer from the vizag salon was meant to educate people about the value of voting.

"We have the right to vote and may use it as a weapon to protect our future and that of the next generation. However, fewer and fewer individuals are interested in casting a ballot on election day. We're encouraging folks to vote on May 13 by offering them to come get a free haircut in exchange for exercising their right to vote. All those who exercise their right and show up on that day will receive haircuts from our staff," radhakrishna from rk Salon stated in a video statement.
