The tremendous advances made by the india alliance in various important regions, especially Uttar Pradesh, have set up fireworks. With 94 seats, the congress, the largest element of the india group, is in the lead. In the 2019 lok sabha election, the india bloc parties have picked up at least 135 seats against the UPA's 91.
 
In the lok sabha election of 2024, the congress appears to be nearly tripling its tally of seats, going from 52 in 2019 to 94.
