Perhaps the surprises are not quite over. india According to reports, alliance head sharad pawar communicates with JD(U) leader nitish kumar and telugu desam party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu. Ahead of the 2024 lok sabha election, nitish kumar and chandrababu naidu both joined the nda again. Insiders told india Herald that Pawar, the leader of the ncp faction, had communicated with both nitish kumar and Chandrababu Naidu. Pawar's reputation extends beyond partisan boundaries.

The support of Naidu-led tdp and Nitish Kumar's JD(U) might be crucial for the nda to form a government in the Centre. In the lok sabha elections, the incumbent national democratic alliance (NDA), led by the bharatiya janata party (BJP), has passed the halfway point, although the margin of victory is closer than exit polls had projected. With 290 seats, the nda leads the opposition india alliance, which has 234 seats. To establish the government, a party or coalition must receive more than 272 votes in the 543-member Lok Sabha.

The nationalist congress party patriarch sharad pawar has refuted claims that the Opposition may approach some of the BJP's partners in light of the tight victory.

At a news conference, Mr. Pawar refuted rumors that he had been in touch with telugu desam party (TDP) leader chandrababu naidu and Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar.

According to media sources, Mr. Pawar called the two leaders in an attempt to get the india coalition over the 272-point barrier.

He stated in response to the claims, "I have not spoken to nitish kumar, chandrababu naidu, or anybody else."
