The election commission (EC) dealt a serious blow to the current ycp government in andhra pradesh just before the state's election. The election commission (EC) decided to defer the distribution of Andhra Pradesh's welfare plan payments till after the general elections. chief minister of andhra pradesh YS jagan Mohan reddy purposefully postponed paying out payments under several welfare schemes.

To sway the voters, they intended to deposit a total of about Rs. 14,165 crores into the recipients' accounts just before the election. The ec, however, took issue with this action. The government was questioned by the ec on why, despite the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT system), benefit sums have not been disbursed promptly.

The ec went on to say that the government intends to distribute those monies just two days before the election, following the campaign. ec declared, "This will be a blatant violation of the Model Code of Conduct." The european Commission declared that following the polls on May 13, it will issue directives for the distribution of the funds for these benefit programs. ec has shattered YCP's dreams. watch out this space for more updates in this regard.
