Google Doodle celebrates international Women's Day!!!

Friday's google Doodle honored international Women's Day and the advancements made in the field of gender equality. In the meantime, the United Nations observed international Women's Day (IWD) for the first time on this day in 1975. According to the description, two early Women's Day demonstrations—one in Saint Petersburg and the other in New York City—are remembered on march 8. These demonstrations, though taking place in various years and locations, shared the same objectives of attaining gender equality, which included the right to vote, fair and secure employment, and the ability to run for public office." Additionally, Doodle artist Sophie Diao illustrated this Doodle.

The description went on to say that today's IWD marches are centered around causes including reproductive rights, ending violence against women, and the disparity in pay between men and women. It said, "Today is dedicated to honoring women who have revolutionized society, championed equality, and served as role models for people worldwide." The google Doodle emphadata-sized that without the brave deeds of those who came before them, women would not have made the advancements they have throughout the years. international Women's Day, on the other hand, is widely acknowledged as a critical occasion on which to highlight the achievements of women, promote gender equality, push for faster progress toward parity, and raise funds for women-focused projects.
