Farmer leaders are planning a tractor march to Delhi...

Today, farmers who are members of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) Tikait and BKU LokShakti will travel from noida to delhi in order to advocate for legislation that would guarantee a minimum support price (MSP) for agricultural produce. This action comes in response to recent demonstrations held in front of the Greater noida Authority office in the city and at NTPC noida by two other farmers' organizations, the Bhartiya Kisan Parishad and the All india Kisan Sabha. In order to march along the yamuna Expressway and the noida Expressway, we intend to line up tractors from Greater noida to the noida side, according to BKU Tikait president (West UP) Pawan Khatana.

According to Khatana, farmers from a number of villages will congregate at the Greater noida toll plaza and then head towards the Chilla data-border. Following the unrest that resulted in the deaths of farmer leaders, the farmers earlier staged a candle march. Additionally, they announced that on Monday, effigies of the World Trade Organization and the Center will be burned. Additionally, there will be numerous KMM and SKM (non-political) events.

According to the farmers, Shubhkaran Singh's cremation would not take place unless the punjab government files a lawsuit against individuals it believes to be at fault. Even after punjab Chief minister Bhagwant Mann promised Shubhkaran's sister a job and compensation, farmer leaders demanded that the criminals be held accountable before the cremation could take place. They claimed that Shubhkaran's family was coerced by the authorities into accepting the cremation without meeting their demands.
