Despite EC warning, BJP repeats ‘Muslims’ charge at Congress

President of the bharatiya janata party (BJP), jp nadda, criticised the congress on friday for its lok sabha election platform, claiming that the old party's covert goal is to take away the rights of the impoverished and backward groups and give them to Muslims as a result of their appeasement policy.

"The congress and INDI Alliance's covert goal is to take away the rights of OBC, SC, and st and grant them to Muslims. congress declares that Muslims have the primary claim to the nation's resources. However, jp nadda stated that prime minister Narendra Modi asserts that the poor have the primary claim to the nation's wealth.

He went on to criticise the congress for being data-aligned with a certain community. "That comment was not made by accident by manmohan Singh. He did so on purpose because, in response to a question at a press conference in mumbai in april 2009, he stuck by his assertion that minorities, particularly Muslims, had to be given precedence and have the first claim to the nation's resources," Nadda added.

The head of the bjp further asserted that the Sachar Committee Report, which was used by the Congress-led UPA administration to portray Muslims as being in worse circumstances than SCs and STs, contained inaccurate information.
