TN Budget 2024: Jackpot for IT Sector..!?!?
In the budget report, Finance minister Thangam Thannarasu said that new IT Park, Tidal Park, and Neo Tidal Park projects are being implemented in the budget report with the important goal of attracting additional investment and companies in the rapidly growing IT and Tech sector in tamil Nadu.
Coimbatore: Coimbatore, which is not only the fastest-growing district in tamil Nadu but also the fastest-growing IT industry, is set to build a new IT park to attract local and foreign companies. While 2 ELCOT Towers are already under construction in coimbatore, this new IT Park project has sent the tech workers and graduates around the coimbatore district into overdrive. In the budget report for the financial year 2024-25, a new IT park in coimbatore will be built with an area of about 20 lakh square feet at a cost of about Rs.1,100 crore. The tamil Nadu government has announced this mega project under Knowledge Economy.
 Madurai, Trichy: Following this, a Tidal Park with an area of 6.4 lakh square feet will be constructed in madurai for Rs 345 crore, and a Tidal Park with an area of 6.3 lakh square feet at a cost of Rs 350 crore in Trichy.
 Neo Tidal Park: It has been announced in the budget report that a small Tidal Park called Neo Tidal Park will be established in the cities of Thanjavur, Salem, Vellore, Tirupur, and Tuticorin to provide employment to 13000 people.
