Why was it taking so long to declare the BJP-RLD alliance?

In Uttar Pradesh, there has been speculation of a coalition between the bjp and RLD. Over the course of the previous three days, Jayant Chaudhary made multiple references to the meeting of both sides' hearts. However, as of the time this news article was written, the official notification was still pending. This indicates that the bjp has not yet declared RLD's inclusion in the NDA. Numerous justifications are offered for this.

In fact, there are rumours that the bjp is in discussions with other parties to form an alliance for the next lok sabha elections. In Punjab, the bjp is holding negotiations with Shiromani Akali Dal, a former ally. From 1997 until 2020, the two parties were in an alliance. It is anticipated that both parties will soon conclude their discussions.

Potential announcement of the three of them joining the nda jointly

Aside from this, the bjp is in talks with Chandrababu Naidu, an old ally in Andhra Pradesh. There are also discussions going on with cm Jagan mohan reddy if sources are to be believed. It's unclear at this point who exactly the partnership will be formed with. In such a scenario, it is anticipated that an official announcement of all three of them joining the nda together will be made following the conclusion of negotiations between these two alliances.

Sources claim that discussions for two lok sabha seats and one rajya sabha seat have taken place between the bjp and RLD. However, the bjp has revealed the identities of seven candidates for this race. Furthermore, it is unclear if RLD fields a candidate or not. In such a scenario, this alliance is apparent on the surdata-face but the reality may be murkier.
