NASA has discovered a planet called Super-Earth that has a favorable environment for life like Earth. It is located 137 light years from Earth. nasa, the American space agency, has discovered a new planet called Super Earth. They also predicted that this planet, 137 light-years away, might have an environment suitable for life. In this regard, a press release issued by nasa stated that the 'Super-Earth' is orbiting a small red star and there may be another Earth-data-sized planet nearby. According to nasa, it is relatively close to Earth by astronomical standards.
The planet is called TOI-715 b. It is one and a half times wider than Earth. The planet orbiting its parent star is also thought to contain water. According to nasa, the liquid on its surdata-face takes just 19 days to complete one orbit. That means a year on this planet is 19 days!
"For water to exist on the surdata-face, there must be many other atmospheric factors that are relevant. From the approximations made so far, this small planet may be slightly larger than Earth," says NASA. The red star that this planet orbits is smaller and cooler than the Sun. Similarly, Natha reports that many stars are thought to form small, rocky worlds. "These planets have much closer orbits than the planets in our solar system, but because the star they orbit is smaller and cooler, the planets are packed closer together, making them safe for life," nasa scientists say.
