The Meteorological Center has warned that heavy rains are likely to occur in Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanmakonda districts tomorrow (Tuesday). It has been announced that there will be heavy rains in the capital hyderabad as well as in the surrounding districts. The ghmc officials, alerted in advance, are suggesting various precautions to the public. In the background of the rain forecast, there is a possibility of giving holidays to schools again.
Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mulugu, Khammam, Nalgonda, Janagam, Siddipet, and Suryapet districts are also warned that there are chances of heavy rains here and there. The Meteorological Department has warned that there are chances of heavy rains in some places in Sangareddy, Jagityala, Sirisilla, Medak, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Bhupalapalli, Yadadri, Vikarabad, Kamareddy, nagar kurnool and mahbubnagar districts. Rivers and creeks are overflowing and flowing dangerously. Traffic between telangana and maharashtra has come to a standstill due to the rising Pen ganga in the adilabad district. Also, many villages in the state have been surrounded by flood water and transportation has come to a standstill.
As heavy rains are falling in hyderabad too, a huge amount of water is coming into Hussain Sagar. The officials said that water is being released to the lower areas through 3 culverts. With this, the officials have alerted the people of the low-lying areas along the canals of Hussain Sagar.
