N Chandrababu Naidu, the head of the telugu desam party and the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, has intimated that his son lokesh will not be his natural successor in the party or in office. In an interview with a renowned news website, Naidu stated that legacies alone will not help a person become a leader. "No one can impose anyone on the masses in a democracy." When asked when lokesh will take over the party leadership from him, he answered, "One has to work hard to acquire the position."
"This is a 40-year-old gathering." We're not putting any restrictions on anyone. What kind of legacy do I want to leave? My father was not a politician in the traditional sense. After that, I created myself as an MLA. There are opportunities in every field. Anyone who wants to survive must take advantage of opportunities, work hard, and succeed," he continued. Clearly, the tdp leader was thinking about how he had squandered his prospects of becoming chief minister by backstabbing his father-in-law N T Rama Rao. The TDP's leader intimated that he will not give over the party to his son anytime soon. He claimed that despite being 72 years old, he was unconcerned about his age.
"In order to fulfil the goal of defeating the ysr congress party (YSRCP) in the 2024 state assembly elections, I will now be more visible on the ground," he added. "There's no need to be concerned about my age." narendra Modi, our Prime minister, is the same age. Performance is what matters. We're working harder than anyone else; 30-year-olds can't work as hard as I can," Naidu explained. When it comes to hiring political strategists, Naidu says the party will cooperate with one if the situation requires it. He, on the other hand, believes that political strategists can just provide advice and that it is ultimately up to politicians to take the lead.
