26th of january is an important day for india which is the world's largest democratic country. The Indian constitution was created on this day. This year is the 73rd Republic Day. The Constitution of india was formed after the independence of India.  Ambedkar is called the framer of the constitution but apart from him, other 210 people helped in the making of the constitution of the country.
 The constitution was adopted in the month of december itself, but it was implemented on 26 january and this day was declared Republic Day. On the other hand, the indian Constitution is written by hand on paper and it is also a big deal to preserve these papers for so many years.
The first meeting of the Constituent assembly was held on the 9th of december 1946 at 11 am. The Constituent assembly consists of a total of 210 members, with 15 women. Two days later, on december 11, 1946, in the Constituent assembly meeting, Dr. rajendra prasad was elected as the president. On 13 december 1946, jawaharlal nehru presented the objective of the Constitution in the assembly, which was passed on 22 january 1947. In 1949, the Constitution was adopted on 26 november but implemented only on the 26th of January.
The original copy of the indian Constitution which is hand-written on paper is kept in the Nitrogen Gas Chamber of the Library of parliament House. The first President of india, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, made the historic and proud announcement of the birth of the indian Republic by hoisting the indian National Flag after a 21-gun salute.
