Bigg Boss fame Ajaz Khan detained under drugs case by NCB
Actor ajaz khan of bigg boss 7 has been detained by the NCB officials on tuesday from the mumbai airport. Prior to taking flight to mumbai, he was in rajasthan and NCB officials who got the clue from a drug peddler about Ajaz’ involvement rushed to the airport and detained him. NCB officials arrested Ajaz as soon as he landed in mumbai and took him for questioning in connection with the drugs.
An NCB official said that Khan’s name came up while interrogating Shadab Batata, an alleged peddler. He was arrested by NCB a week prior and during the questioning he took the name of Ajaz says the reports. The NCB had recovered MDMA worth Rs 2 crore after arresting Batata last week.
After taking Ajaz into custody, the police also conducted raids in the house of Ajaz situated in Lokhandwala, Versova and Mira Road. The official said saying, “We are questioning Khan. We are checking if he is linked to the syndicate.”
This is not the first time for the actor to be arrested by NCB in drugs case. Earlier too he was involved in multiple drug cases and was arrested. In 2018, he was arrested for having Ecstasy tablets worth Rs. 2 lakh by Navi mumbai police from a hotel.
