Virat Kohli takes jibe at 'promoting game' remark

The 'promoting the game' comment made regarding India's great batsman virat kohli in relation to his selection for the indian side for the t20 world cup was met with derision when kohli demonstrated his continued proficiency in the game's shortest format. With a brilliant 77 off 49 balls against the punjab Kings, kohli would lead the RCB in an amazing chase against the latter, which was seen by an ardent audience at the Chinnaswamy.
Currently, kohli is a contender to play in the ICC tournament in the USA and the Caribbean, although some critics speculated that this may be a ploy to support the growth of the game in the US. During the post-match presentation, the star batter would take aim at this and grinily admit that he was aware of the comments made about him.

At the Chinnaswamy, kohli would remark on the affection he receives from the RCB supporters and mention how long it had been going on. The renowned hitter claimed that although many would discuss statistics and figures, he was more concerned with the memories he had made with them.

This is a long-running love tale involving supporters of Chinnaswamy. When you play sports, people discuss a lot of other topics, such as accomplishment, statistics, and numbers. But it's the memories you make that matter when you look back. The support, gratitude, and love I've had have been incredible," remarked Kohli.
