Also, Andy Flower, who was the assistant coach of the punjab team, recently resigned. In this regard, the lucknow team for the 2022 IPL series today confirmed that Andy Flower will be the coach. It is learned that the announcement was made after the approval of the Board of Control for cricket in India.  

Andy Flower, who played for the zimbabwe cricket team, coached the england team for more than 10 years. Following that, he was appointed as the coach of the punjab Kings team for the IPL series last 2020 season.
Similarly, rumors are circulating that former punjab captain KL rahul may be appointed as the captain of the lucknow team.
With only 8 teams participating in the IPL series as usual, the first 10 teams are expected to take part next year. It also said that only 4 players per team could be retained in the next IPL series and all other players could be put up for auction.
