Indian cricket team
The new zealand team, which is touring India, played in the three-match t20 series. On the other hand, fans have been condemning the BCCI. The reason is the change in the diet that has been announced for the team players on behalf of the BCCI!
Netizens have condemned the bcci for saying that beef and pork should not be eaten and that indian players should eat only halal non-vegetarian food.
It has been suggested that this is compelling except for the personal likes and dislikes of the indian team players. Thus, the hashtag #BCCI_Promotes_Halal is trending on Twitter.
According to Hindu and Sikh rituals, it is forbidden to take non-vegetarian foods that are halal. Thus, some fans have protested against how the bcci can enforce the halal diet which is against the Hindu system.
Under the circumstances, it is not yet clear whether this dietary change has been officially implemented on behalf of the BCCI. However, the bcci has not yet commented on Netizens' objections.
