3 states strongly against Special Status for AP
The Union Minister of Aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju who has been bombarded by the state leaders of AP specially Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has now revealed an interesting news and put out the names of the states that are actually playing a key role blocking the grant of Special Status to AP.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju addressing the media said that Andhra Pradesh is 100 percent eligible for Special Status even according to the Finance Commission but the leaders of the states such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Odisha are blocking to do so. He reminded that the Finance Commission itself admitted that AP is eligible.
He said " Even though all the state leaders of AP are united for the special status issue there is no such co-operation among the Central leaders. That is one of the important reason why the Centre is not able to take a step about the Special Status."
