Meet me after the budget if you like me, says PM Modi!

Before his speech at the World Economic Forum, Prime Minister Modi was involved in a meeting with Indian and international organizations. Some of the key features of the meeting are as follows. While Modi was scheduled to speak at 11:15 pm, some CEOs were seen arriving as early as 9:30 pm and were waiting, though they knew the door will be opened only by 10:15.

Most of those present, opined that Minister Modi's speech was good, though his talks on the Indian tradition every time is getting monotonous and could be avoided. Though Prime Minister Modi had decided to speak English for international media, just like how the Chinese President addressed in Chinese last year, Modi was asked to address in Hindi, and few seconds after Modi started his speech in Hindi, all the leading leaders of the conference began listening to the translation through their headphone.

Lakshmi Mittal met Mukesh Ambani after Modi's speech, and SBI Chairman Rajnish Kumar and ICICI Bank Chairman Chanda Kochhar were seen discussing with Lakshmi Mittal. Prime Minister Modi met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who's scheduled to visit India next month, after completing his speech at the World Economic Forum. More than 100 CEOs were waiting patiently for more than 30 minutes for lunch and discussions with Modi.

During the meeting with the chief executives, none of them had smiles on their data-faces, and Prime Minister Modi also enquired why they did not have a smile on the data-face.  Now that you are all happy with me, but after the 2018-2019 budget has been submitted, let me see what you are saying, said the PM. This hinted that the budget might go tough for corporate companies.
