Only Half of AP pilgrims rescued
Half the contingent of Andhra pilgrims are on way back after rescue , but fate of other half of total 2500 pilgrims is still a mystery .
As of now nearly 1,100 devotees fr0m AP caught in Char Dham tragedy have been brought back to A.P.Bhavan, New Delhi and 800 of them are on way to Andhra Pradesh. Today 636 were sent to different destinations in AP by special train.
The affected pilgrims are traveling by train from New Delhi belong to Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Anantapur, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Guntakal, Visakhapatnam and Kurnool. Free train journey is organized to drop each of the affected families at their door steps and more similar trips are being organized tomorrow also.
Government sources said rescue teams in 23 helicopters are were still on look out remaining pilgrim from out of a total of 2500 stranded at several points in the char dham yatra route .Meanwhile the casualty of Andhra pilgrims touched 58 of which five bodies had to be cremated in the valley itself as they were beyond recognition and highly decomposed .
Two relief teams from A.P.Bhavan, one at Dehra Dun and another at Haridwar are continuously on the job. Stranded devotees are provided free food, Medicare,Accommodation is being at A.P.Bhavan and at TTD Kalyana Mandapam, Rishikesh. Special Bhajans and rituals also held at Balaji Mandir, Rishikesh wishing well being of all Devotees.
