Ashok Gehlot's attack on the review of English medium schools!
The Bhajanlal Sharma government of rajasthan has started preparations to review mahatma gandhi english medium schools. A cabinet sub-committee has been formed under the chairmanship of deputy chief minister Premchand Bairwa to review the 3741 english medium schools started during the tenure of the Gehlot government. In such a situation, now former cm Ashok Gehlot has targeted this decision of the government. He said, it seems that the bjp government has resolved to ruin government school education.
Ashok Gehlot posted on his social media platform and said, "It seems that the bjp government has resolved to ruin government school education. This is the reason why there has been a decrease of lakhs of students in the enrollment of government schools. Today itself, there were reports in the media that children up to class VIII in government schools were not getting uniforms, sweaters and shoes and now the government has formed a cabinet committee to review mahatma gandhi english medium schools."
He further said, "It seems that the state government is under heavy pressure from private english medium schools. Hence, after one year, such a decision had to be taken because children were getting good education in these schools for free or at very low fees. If the government sees any shortcomings in these schools, it should take steps to improve them, but it seems intent on playing with the future of the children." Let us tell you that the bharatiya janata party had raised questions on the establishment of english medium schools while being in the opposition. Many schools were converted from hindi medium to english medium, due to which children and teachers were facing difficulties in studies.
