'They don't care if the farmer class votes are cut' says Udit Raj

Reportedly congress leader Dr. Udit raj has reacted to the farmers’ delhi Chalo march. He said that I salute the farmers, when democracy is in danger, they are not only fighting for their demands but are also an inspiration, a hope to keep democracy alive so that people of other classes in india also wake up. The labourer and the working class are the small traders, the most affected in the country at this time, small industries are getting closed. Their (farmers) demands are justified, the prime minister had accepted their demands.

Meanwhile Udit raj further said that it is surprising that a person of the level of PM can lie so much, can go back on his words. In such a situation, the farmers are helpless, what should they do. Farmers have been stopped at Shambhu data-border, so will they go to Karachi or Washington for talks, they will come to the capital of their country only. Being stopped from coming to the capital of their country is also undemocratic in itself. He said that the government of the country is in delhi, so they (farmers) want to make their point heard there and the solution to their problem is from delhi itself, so I am in their favor and support their demands.

Moreover while answering another question, Udit raj said that the farmers should expand their scope. The day the government of punjab was formed, the protests started from that day itself. I have never seen such despair that the government is formed and the people of that place sit on the streets the very next day. The farmer class is a single class, even if their votes are cut, it doesn't matter to them. They should include Dalits with them. Minorities of the country are also being treated unfairly, such issues should be raised and a big platform should be prepared. The strategy that is followed earlier should be changed.
