In the maharashtra assembly elections, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance has got a massive mandate. On the other hand, the opposition alliance Mahavikas Aghadi has suffered a crushing defeat. After the immense success in the elections, the Mahayuti is moving towards forming the government. At the same time, questions are being raised on EVMs from the opposition. Meanwhile, the shiv sena Uddhav faction once again attacked the election commission on monday over the difference in the figures of ballot paper and EVM.
Shiv Sena UBT mla varun Sardesai exposed the election commission by holding a press conference. He said that when we were ahead in 143 seats in postal ballot, then how did the Mahavikas Aghadi come down to 46 in the counting of EVMs.
Explaining the difference, he suspected EVM tampering. Let us tell you that varun Sardesai has become an mla by winning the Bandra east seat. He said that from postal to EVM, our votes have reduced almost everywhere. Due to this, we lost on many seats.
What did the shiv sena Uddhav faction MLAs say on the election results?
Varun Sardesai asked the election commission how did this happen? He said that during the counting of postal votes, we were ahead in many seats compared to Mahayuti, but in the counting of EVMs, we fell behind Mahayuti. I want to ask the election commission how did such a big difference come? He said that look at the trend of the lok sabha elections. The results of postal ballots and EVMs are matching. But the result of the assembly elections is completely different. How is it possible to go 5 to 15 percent behind in the counting of EVMs? The result becomes absolutely clear after studying the data of the election Commission. While we were ahead in postal ballots, we fell 5 to 15 percent behind in EVMs.
