Crime: After being taken into custody, accused brother attacked.?
The accused of the murderous attack on the head constable posted in New Usmanpur area of North east Delhi was arrested by the police after an encounter. The police have also recovered a pistol from the accused Mohammad Adil. Adil already has 27 cases of attempt to murder registered against him. According to the DCP of North east Delhi, the incident took place on 29 November. At the time of the incident, Head Constable azad Akhtar caught Mohammad Adil doing suspicious activities during patrolling. After this, the head constable took Adil into custody for interrogation and reached gautam vihar police booth. At the same time, his brother Bawla reached the police booth with 3 to 4 women. Bawla abused and assaulted Head Constable azad Akhtar.

History-sheeter Adil's brother Bawla did not stop here, he tore the uniform of Head Constable azad Akhtar and Mohammad Adil attacked his chest with a sharp weapon, due to which azad Akhtar was seriously injured. After this the attackers fled from the spot. Injured Head Constable azad Akhtar was admitted to JPC Hospital for treatment. At present, New Usmanpur police station is taking action by registering a case under different sections of BNS.
Adil arrested after encounter
According to the DCP, during the investigation today, the Special Staff and PS New Usmanpur received secret information about the hiding of accused Mohammad Adil. The information revealed that the accused is equipped with a sophisticated weapon. Acting on the information, a team was formed under the supervision of Inspector Dheeraj. The team surrounded Adil in the forest of Tisra Pushta of yamuna Khadar and asked him to surrender. To avoid arrest, the accused took out a pistol and fired indiscriminately at the police team. After this, the police team retaliated and fired 2 rounds. One bullet hit the accused's right leg and the team caught him. A semi-automatic pistol and a cartridge were recovered from his possession, after which the injured accused was taken to GTB Hospital for treatment.
