The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of dense fog in the morning and evening in the coming days. Along with this, the mercury may fall further.

Perhaps according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense fog in the morning and evening in many districts of the state for the next three days. In such a situation, the beginning of the month of december will be wrapped in a white sheet of fog. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of a drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius in the maximum and minimum temperatures. After which further increase in cold will be seen. In UP, a dense fog alert has been issued in Noida, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Bijnor, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, Etah, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Kannauj, Kanpur, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki, Lucknow, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Ayodhya, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria and Sant Kabir Nagar.

Moreover along with cold, air pollution has also made people breathless. The air quality in the state is continuously deteriorating. The situation is even more serious in the districts adjoining Delhi. At the same time, the amount of pollution in the air has also increased in big cities like Lucknow. The air quality index in the capital Lucknow was above 200 on monday morning. At the same time, the AQI level in Lalbagh and Talkatora was 279 and 293, which comes in the category of bad air. Let us tell you that the AQI level for clean air is between 0 to 50.
