Actually, the work of placing gutter i.e. beam and welding it is being done on the under-construction Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway going above the highway between azad Marg intersection and Tribhuvankheda on the highway going from kanpur to Lucknow. Due to this, one lane will remain closed for about 20 days between november 20 and december 10.
Perhaps the organization working on this expressway has told the police officials that it will complete the work in 20 days. At the same time, the police has completed its preparations to avoid traffic jam during this time. According to the information given by the police, commuters may data-face problems on the highway between 20 november and 10 December.
Moreover traffic in-charge bhuvan Singh Maurya said that after the work starts at night, it will continue till 9 am. During this time, the lane going from lucknow to kanpur will be completely closed for about 700 meters before Tribhuvankheda intersection from azad Marg intersection in Achalganj area on the highway. While the traffic will be run by dividing the second lane into two parts. He said that the movement of vehicles from both sides will be through only one lane. This diversion will be for only 700 meters. After this, vehicles from both sides will be able to go in their respective lanes. But after the work is over at 9 am, both the lanes will be opened. During this time, five to six policemen have been deployed here.
