Bus full of policemen overturned in Ballia, 29 soldiers injured

A bus carrying bihar Special Arms police personnel overturned late night near Chand Diyar petrol Pump in Bairia police station area of Ballia. 29 soldiers travelling in the bus were injured in this accident. Out of the injured, 19 soldiers have been admitted to Sonbarsa Community health Center for treatment. At the same time, 10 injured have been admitted to Ballia district Hospital for treatment. All the injured were coming from Dehri in Rohtas district of bihar and were going to Siwan to do duty on diwali and Chhath Puja. The reason for the accident is said to be the failure of all four wheels of the bus. local police is investigating the matter.

The injured soldier told that the condition of the bus was very bad. All the four wheels of the bus were damaged due to which the bus overturned four times and we fell into the water. Our lives were saved. Regarding this accident, Ballia Superintendent of police Vikrant Veer informed that, E Company of bihar Special Arms police 18th Battalion was going from Dehri Onson Rohtas to Siwan bihar by private bus on 29 october 2024 for peace and order duty diwali, Chhath.

Superintendent of police enquired about the condition of the injured

Today, on 30 october, at around 12:30 pm, under the police station Bairia area, a vehicle lost control and met with a road accident near Chand Diyar petrol Pump. 29 soldiers have been injured in this accident, out of which 10 soldiers have been referred to Sadar Hospital Ballia for treatment. The remaining 19 soldiers are being treated at Community health Center Sonvarsha Bairia. The condition of all is said to be normal. Superintendent of police Ballia went to the district hospital and talked to the treated soldiers and the concerned doctor on the spot and help has also been provided to the patients.
