The Chief Secretary gave information about the flood

At the same time, in the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of Disaster Management Department Pratyaya Amrit gave information through a presentation that 13 districts were affected by the flood due to the increase in the water level of the ganges river between september 20 and september 29. In the first phase, a population of 28.34 lakh was affected. In the second phase, due to heavy rainfall in nepal and the adjoining districts of North bihar from september 29, there was an unexpected increase in the water level in rivers like Gandak, Koshi, etc., which led to flood situation in 18 districts of the state. He further said that all actions are being taken in accordance with the Flood Disaster Management Standard Operating Procedure to help the flood victims and all possible help is being provided to the affected people.
