Protest in India over Nasrallah's death!

In the latest development, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) President Syed Sadatullah Hussaini has strongly condemned the Israeli air strikes on Beirut and the targeted killing of Hezbollah chief Syed Hassan Nasrallah.
In a statement given to the media, the JIH president said, "We strongly condemn israel for the indiscriminate and barbaric air strikes on the Lebanese city of Beirut, in which more than 40 people, including Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, were killed." Apart from Jamaat-e-Islami, protests against the death of Narsallah are also being seen in Jammu and Kashmir. Thousands of people took to the streets and raised anti-Israel and anti-US slogans.
'Israel is illegally occupying'
The statement further said, "We express our deepest condolences, sympathy and unwavering solidarity with the people of lebanon and all those who are opposing the illegal occupation of palestine and other sovereign territories on behalf of Israel's apartheid and colonial regime. This cowardly invasion is a genocide and a heinous crime."
'The United Nations should stop arson in the Middle East'
Syed Sadatullah said, "Israel has used bunker-buster bombs in a densely populated civilian area to destroy Hezbollah's headquarters. This is considered illegal by the Geneva Convention and it further proves Israel's evil nature. In the wake of the assassination of Hezbollah's leader, experts predict an escalation of regional tensions that could lead to a wider regional conflict. We express our deep concern and urge the international community and the United Nations to stop this conflagration in the Middle East."
