Opposition raises questions of badlapur case accused…

badlapur case accused Akshay Shinde died in an encounter on monday (September 23). Now the opposition has raised questions on this encounter. maharashtra Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar said that there should be a judicial inquiry into this encounter. Apart from him, supriya sule also raised questions on this. Vijay Wadettiwar wrote on his X handle, "Shooting Akshay Shinde is an attempt to destroy evidence. How did Akshay Shinde shoot? Weren't the accused Akshay's hands tied in police custody? How did he get the gun? How can the police be so careless."

'This encounter is suspicious'

He further wrote, "On one hand, no action is taken against the operators of the organization in the badlapur case even though they are associated with BJP, on the other hand, today the accused Akshay Shinde shot himself, this is very shocking and suspicious. We do not trust the role of the police in the badlapur case from the very beginning. We demand that now there should be a judicial inquiry into this matter."

supriya sule also raised questions

On the other hand, Sharad Pawar's party MP supriya sule said, "The attitude of the Mahayuti government in the sexual harassment case of two minor girls in badlapur is shocking! First the delay in filing an FIR and now the murder of the main accused in custody! This is a complete failure of law enforcement and justice system. Due to such incidents, the people of maharashtra are deprived of justice."

What did Nana Patole say?

In this case, maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole said, "It has been reported that Akshay Shinde, accused in the sexual harassment case in badlapur, has died in a police encounter. It has been learned that Shinde snatched the gun from the police and fired at himself and the police and died due to the police bullet."

Nana Patole further said, "This incident has raised some serious questions, like the school trustee in the badlapur case has not been arrested yet, he is absconding, why has he not been arrested yet? Is an attempt being made to end the case by encountering the main accused to save the absconding accused in this case? Has the police encountered the accused as part of a high-level effort to suppress the entire case? To bring out the truth of this case, an investigation should be conducted by the current judges of the High Court."
