Heavy rains continue in Madhya Pradesh. In view of the heavy rains, chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held an emergency meeting today (September 12). The meeting was held at Samatva Bhavan of the Chief Minister's residence. During the meeting, chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given guidelines to deal with the situation of excessive rain. chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has cancelled the leave of all the officers of the state. Due to rain, chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav called a meeting in the cm House itself in which district officials including DGP participated. The alert for heavy rains continues till september 30. In such a situation, cm Mohan Yadav has appealed to stay away from rivers, drains and dilapidated houses. At the same time, the chief minister has given rescue instructions for the officials that wherever a person is trapped in the flood, he should be immediately helped by helicopter.
6 districts on red alert even today
Heavy rains continue in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has put 6 districts of the state on red alert. These districts include Bhind, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Vidisha, Raisen, Sagar, while heavy rains are also expected in 29 districts of the state including Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur.
Schools up to 8th standard closed in many districts
In view of the possibility of heavy rains, holiday has been declared in all government-private schools from 5th to 8th class in Sagar, Rajgarh, Guna, Shivpuri, Morena and Bhind districts, although there is holiday up to 5th class in Bhopal. Here, due to heavy rains, Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also had to cancel his Shivpuri tour.
