Chhattisgarh's deputy chief minister and home minister Vijay Sharma arrived on a visit to Bastar today on saturday (17 August). Here, on one hand, he met the villagers of Purvarti village of Naxalite commander Hidma, who has a reward of Rs 40 lakh on his head. Also, the home minister met the surrendered Naxal families in the colony 'Loan Varra Two' hub built for surrendered Naxalites in Dantewada district. Here the deputy chief minister tied Rakhi to surrendered female Naxalites.

In fact, home minister Vijay Sharma reached the 'Loan Varra Two' hub in Karli of Dantewada district during his Bastar visit. Let us tell you that this colony has been built for the families of surrendered Naxalites, where they have also been provided housing for living and kiosk for employment by the government. The home minister, who reached among them, tied Rakhi to the surrendered female Naxalites. Also, as a brother, he promised them protection and a bright future.

The deputy chief minister met all the surrendered Naxal families, listened to their problems and promised to solve them. He assured that the state government will make every possible effort to make their lives better. After meeting the surrendered Naxal families in Dantewada, deputy chief minister Vijay Sharma reached Poorvarti village of Naxal commander Hidma in Sukma district and met the villagers here.

This is the first time after 78 years of independence that a minister reached this highly Naxal-affected village and held a chaupal among the villagers and listened to their problems. The home minister assured that now the picture of Poorvarti village will change and the villagers here will be able to get all the basic facilities. The deputy chief minister also took information from the villagers about the changes in the lives of the villagers after setting up the police camp.
