Chhattisgarh's deputy chief minister and home minister Vijay Sharma arrived on a visit to Bastar today on saturday (17 August). Here, on one hand, he met the villagers of Purvarti village of Naxalite commander Hidma, who has a reward of Rs 40 lakh on his head. Also, the home minister met the surrendered Naxal families in the colony 'Loan Varra Two' hub built for surrendered Naxalites in Dantewada district. In fact, home minister Vijay Sharma reached the 'Loan Varra Two' hub in Karli of Dantewada district during his Bastar visit. This is the first time after 78 years of independence that a minister reached this highly Naxal-affected village and held a chaupal among the villagers and listened to their problems. The home minister assured that now the picture of Poorvarti village will change and the villagers here will be able to get all the basic facilities.
