Budget 2024:  CM revanth reddy fires on the budget!

Telangana cm revanth reddy expressed his anger about the central budget.. What did he say.. “This is not discrimination.. They have acted in a factional way. Our ministers went to delhi 18 times and asked the prime minister, home minister and other ministers to amend the rights under the state bifurcation act and the damage caused by the previous government in ten years and to give necessary funds. I  have met the prime minister three times. I said in the adilabad assembly that we consider the prime minister as an elder. "After becoming the prime minister for the third time, I have requested to include the necessary funds for telangana in the budget," he said.
"If you look at the summary of the budget today, the word telangana has been banned. The Center does not like to utter the word Telangana. He blamed the emergence of telangana itself. He was in favor of telangana from the beginning. Now our government thinks that he has acted in a partisan manner. According to the bifurcation act.. when funds are given to andhra pradesh, should they be given to Telangana? We asked the prime minister himself for funding for the Namo ganga and sabarmati river fronts.. for the musi river Development Fund. If this country wants to become a 5 trillion economy.. hyderabad needs to expand metro. So that investments can come from abroad. The unemployed will get employment. But not a single rupee was given in the budget for anything. The UPA government has so far given the ITIR corridor, but has not implemented it. There is no mention of it.” revanth reddy said.
“The Center seems to think that telangana is not a part of developed India. It's like a chair bachao budget. Nothing was given to other states except bihar and AP. It seems that this budget is to protect his chair. There has never been such discrimination, such faction. In telangana state, people gave 8 mp seats and 35 percent votes to BJP. prime minister Modi sat in that seat because of the decision of the telangana people. Modi who should show gratitude... has acted in a factional way. The Center acted as if the telangana self-respect was not important to the Centre. Union minister Kishan reddy should answer the people of Telangana. He should apologize to the people and step down from the cabinet.” He said.
“Why not give IIM to Telangana? Why don't those who give to polavaram not give to palamuru uplifters? While giving to Amaravati, why not give to hyderabad Metro, Musi? Why not give it to the airport in Warangal? If you feel big, you feel evil. This budget is releasing funds under quid pro quo. The prime minister wrote down the rights of the people of telangana in Laluchi. people don't tolerate it. We will protest. We will protest in the budget meeting. We will coordinate with other MPs and fight for the rights of Telangana. It is not only the ap Partition Act but also the telangana Partition Act. bjp should answer to the people of Telangana. If we were trying to be friendly, this is what Kendra did. The budget should be revised and telangana should be given the necessary funds. Metro expansion should be funded. Pharma villages should be funded. Funding for the Musi riverfront should be given in the revised budget. We should put aside factions and discrimination and contribute to the development of Telangana. Otherwise, it is like the bjp has been defeated in Telangana. "Kishan reddy is not giving lectures. He should tell what the funds have brought to telangana," said cm Revanth Reddy.
"Immediately after the question and answer session in the assembly tomorrow, minister Sridhar Babu.. condemns this partisan affair and suggests that telangana should pass a resolution and take all necessary measures to inform the Prime Minister. This discrimination is not good. Unable to tolerate this discrimination, the people of the state gave a verdict in 2023. Don't put us in such a situation again. 8 bjp MPs and 1 mim mp together... 17 MPs in telangana should protest in Parliament. We should fight together for the rights of the state. The congress government is seriously misbehaving at the Centre. We will definitely protest." cm revanth reddy said.
