New Delhi: The
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced that it will conduct a
Foundational Learning Study in delhi to evaluate the
reading, writing, and numeracy skills of students in
Grade 3 under the
National education Policy (NEP) 2020.The study aims to
assess and strengthen basic learning competencies, ensuring that young learners develop a solid foundation in key skills essential for further education. According to NCERT officials, the study will identify
gaps in learning and provide insights for teachers and policymakers to improve
instructional strategies and classroom practices.This initiative data-aligns with NEP 2020’s focus on
foundational literacy and numeracy, emphasizing early skill development as a cornerstone for academic success. Schools in delhi will cooperate with NCERT to facilitate the assessment, which will also help in
monitoring progress and implementing remedial measures where needed.Experts believe that the
Foundational Learning Study will be crucial in ensuring that students are on track with essential learning outcomes, ultimately contributing to
