The Union Budget 2024-25 will be presented in the lok sabha on July 23, 2024," the Parliamentary Affairs minister said. Due to the lok sabha elections in 2024, the budget is presented in two phases.
First, the interim budget statement was tabled on february 1, 2024, till the end of the elections. Now, with the BJP-led national democratic alliance (NDA) government taking office for the 2nd term, Nirmala Sitharaman, who has been sworn in again as the Finance minister, will present the full budget for the current financial year on July 23.
