Once she accidentally shared her own and once the contact number of Shahrukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan on social media. ananya has revealed this in an interview to Netflix India. She told that she once shared a screenshot of Suhana's number on her insta handle.

Talking about cyber threats, when ananya was asked whether her number is in any database. In response to this, ananya said, "No, but once I accidentally leaked my own number. I was in an interview and this happened during that time. A press conference was going on and the interview was starting. Some reporters came and asked me some questions and asked me for my number citing journalistic reasons. So I gave them my number but by then the interview had started. And that video of mine was uploaded on YouTube in which I was telling my number. This is how my number got leaked.''
When ananya accidentally leaked Suhana's number
ananya further said, ''Once I accidentally leaked Suhana's number. I was FaceTimeing her and I thought maybe she is not picking up my number. I took a screenshot and posted it on instagram, in which her number was also visible.'' ananya further said that after that Suhana called me and said listen my number has been hacked and I said- Oh God. What happened Suhana? This is really a very strange story. ananya said that but then someone told her that I did it.
