The state budget for 2024-25 was presented ahead of the maharashtra assembly elections to be held in October. The monsoon session of the maharashtra Legislature began on Thursday. maharashtra deputy cm and Finance minister ajit pawar announced several gifts while presenting the state budget. Today ajit pawar made announcements in the budget like giving three free LPG cylinders to eligible families of the state and financial assistance of Rs 1500 to women every month. On Thursday, deputy chief minister ajit pawar also presented the economic review of 2023-24 in the Legislature.

Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana

The 'Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana' was announced to be implemented by Finance minister Ajit Pawar. It was announced that qualifying women between the ages of 21 and 60 will get a monthly allowance of Rs. 1500 under this financial support initiative for women. In July, the "Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana" will go into effect. This initiative will receive a yearly budgetary allocation of Rs 46,000 crore.

Free cylinder under chief minister Annapurna Yojana

Under the 'Chief minister Annapurna Yojana', three LPG cylinders will be given free every year to an eligible family of five people. Under this, 52.4 lakh families in the state will get three LPG cylinders free every year. Government increased compensation for deaths due to animal attacks

The state government has increased financial assistance for deaths due to animal attacks. The families of those who died due to stray animal attacks will get Rs 25 lakh, whereas earlier financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh was given.
