India's Foreign Ministry has expressed displeasure over the death of two indian citizens in the Russia-Ukraine war. india has demanded a ban on the recruitment of indians in the Russian army.

Two more citizens of india have died fighting for the Russian army in the war against Ukraine. With this, the number of deaths in the war has gone up to four. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that india has strongly raised the matter with russia and has demanded the Russian army to stop the recruitment of indian citizens immediately. india has said that all the indians recruited in the Russian army should be allowed to return immediately. Apart from this, the ministry has instructed the citizens working in russia to be cautious.

The Ministry of External Affairs said this

The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement, 'We are saddened to inform that two indian citizens recruited in the Russian army have recently been killed in the ongoing conflict between russia and Ukraine. We express our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. Our embassy in moscow has pressured the senior officials of the Russian Defense Ministry, including the Russian Ministry, to send back the bodies of the indians killed in the ukraine war at the earliest.'

The indian Embassy in moscow has strongly raised the issue with the Russian Embassy in delhi and Russian officials regarding the return of indian citizens from Russia. India's Ministry of External Affairs has given this information in a statement issued. india has asked russia to 'ban any kind of recruitment of indian citizens in the Russian army. Such activities are not in line with our partnership.'
