HDFC bank has issued a warning to its customers. hdfc bank informed its customers via SMS that some services will not be available during the upgrade window on june 9 and 16. The bank informed its customers through email and SMS that all its hdfc bank mobile banking services will be unavailable.

Bank services closed

HDFC bank is planning to upgrade the system for hdfc bank related services on given dates, due to which the service will not be available at that time. 9 june 2024 from 3:30 AM to 6:30 AM IST. This means that customers will not have access to the bank's service for three hours. 16 june 2024 from 3:30 AM to 7:30 AM IST.

Customers will not be able to get banking services for four hours. According to the bank's official website, here is the list of services that are not available on hdfc Bank's netbanking and mobile banking app. bank account related services, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS services related to bank account deposits, fund transfer are not available.

HDFC Bank

Bank passbook download, external merchant payment service, instant account opening, UPI payment, this service was not available earlier due to maintenance. Due to pre-scheduled maintenance, hdfc bank debit, credit and prepaid card transactions will be unavailable on june 4, 2024 from 12:30 AM - 2:30 AM and june 6 from 12:30 AM - 2:30 AM. All debit, credit, prepaid card services are temporarily unavailable at hdfc bank ATMs.

HDFC bank Users

Not available on POS (card swipe machines in stores), online (payment gateway portals) and Netsafe transactions. hdfc bank RuPay cards do not work for online transactions on other (non-HDFC Bank) payment gateways. hdfc bank customers now get Rs. 100 (remittance/paid) and Rs. 500 (Paid Received) will only receive SMS updates.
