It is clear that if the exit polls prove to be correct, the state government led by sukhwinder singh Sukhu may fall in Himachal Pradesh.What is the whole matter?Voting for the Himachal assembly by-election was held on six seats along with the lok sabha elections on june 1. The seats for the by-election included Dharamshala, Lahaul and Spiti, Sujanpur, Barsar, Gagret and Kutlehar. Lahaul and Spiti recorded 73.72 per cent, Kutlehar 71.40 per cent, Gagret 68.28 per cent, Dharamshala 66.27 per cent, Sujanpur 63 per cent and Barsar 50 per cent voting. In the six seats in Himachal where assembly by-elections were held, the MLAs were disqualified from the assembly for violating the party whip to vote in favour of the Sukhu government during the budget. After that these seats became vacant.
