The plan of one country, one election will be successful!!!

The basic concept of one nation one election is that the lok sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections should be held simultaneously. Not only this, the idea also includes that the elections of municipalities, municipal councils should also be linked with it. That is, all the elections in the country should be conducted simultaneously. One argument in the context of one nation, one election is that just now on march 16, when the election commission announced the election, the election code of conduct came into force from that time and the implementation of the election code of conduct means that all the state governments and the central government at present cannot take any policy decision. They cannot announce any new scheme because in the election code of conduct model code of conduct it is believed that if the ruling party does not get a situation of benefit somewhere, then in a way the country stops.

Concept of one country, one election

Sometimes lok sabha, sometimes Vidhan Sabha, sometimes panchayat elections are being held in the country. The main concept of One Nation One election is that all elections should be held in one go. But the most important thing is how much is this possible? For this, it is important to understand the system that the constitution of the country is the format of parliamentary democracy, which is called parliamentary democracy. In parliamentary democracy, governments are not stable, where and on whom does the tenure of those governments depend? The central government is dependent on the Lok Sabha. As long as it has a majority in the lok sabha, that government will run. Similarly, what is the situation in the states?

As long as there is a majority in the assembly, the government will run, but if for some reason no one is able to get the majority, there is no new situation to form a government, mid-term elections are held, then it is very difficult to guarantee the tenure. When our country became independent, when the constitution was implemented, in the beginning, from 1952 to 1967, the assembly elections and the lok sabha elections were going on simultaneously. But what happened after that? Governments of many states do not complete their tenure. That sequence of elections between lok sabha and Vidhan Sabhas was broken. Now there is an effort to re-establish it and to have one nation and one election again.
