Severe heat wave will continue

The india Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its weather forecast warning that severe heat wave conditions will persist in most parts of Delhi. The humidity level in the air was 43 percent at 8.30 am.

The maximum temperature is likely to cross 46 degrees Celsius in many parts of the city. Very intense heat was observed in the national capital on tuesday and the temperature in some parts of delhi reached close to 50 degrees Celsius. According to the IMD, heat wave conditions are expected to persist in delhi for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has urged people to take "extreme caution for sensitive people" due to heat wave.
