In the alleged assault case with Aam Aadmi Party's rajya sabha MP swati Maliwal (Swati Maliwal Assault Case), the troubles of chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's PA Vibhav Kumar have increased. Delhi's tis hazari court has sent Vibhav to three-day police custody. delhi police had sought 5-day remand in the court.

In the court, delhi police had argued that Vibhav Kumar had also made a video during the incident. Which he later deleted and formatted his phone. police said that they want to investigate it. Therefore, his custody should be given for at least five days.

Vibhav's lawyer opposed the delhi Police's plea to question his client in custody and claimed that he did not have any evidence.

Vibhav sent to police custody till May 31

Metropolitan Magistrate Gaurav Goyal sent Vibhav Kumar to police custody till May 31 after hearing the arguments of both the parties. It is worth noting that aam aadmi party (AAP) rajya sabha member swati Maliwal was allegedly assaulted on May 13 at the official residence of cm Arvind Kejriwal.

On Monday, a sessions court rejected Vibhav Kumar's bail plea, saying that it appears that swati Maliwal had no pre-planned intention to file the FIR and the allegations leveled by her cannot be dismissed. An FIR was registered against Vibhav on May 16 under various provisions of the indian Penal Code.
