The voter turnout of 50.86% in the three parliamentary constituencies in the kashmir Valley echoes the confidence people have in the democratic process. The voter turnout was 19.16% in 2019, an increase of 30%. In the three parliamentary constituencies of Srinagar, Baramulla and Anantnag-Rajouri, the voter turnout was 38.49%, 59.1% and 54.84% respectively. This is the highest in the last 30 years.
